Why we have a Charter
Rebel Finance School has grown into a huge, generous and slightly bonkers global community. Thousands of people come to learn how money works, get out of debt, start investing, build confidence and make better decisions for their lives.
Rebel Ninjas help protect and support that mission. This Charter exists so we all know how to show up, how to help and what kind of community we are building together.
Being a Rebel Ninja is something to be proud of. This is a chance to help people feel supported while they change their financial lives.
The Rebel Ninja Promise

We serve the mission
We are here to help people understand money, build confidence and create a more extraordinary life. The mission comes first.
We create calm
Money can feel intense. We help lower the temperature, reduce confusion and keep the community useful, kind and practical.
We point people to resources
We do not need to know every answer. Often the most useful thing is helping someone find the right video, week, worksheet, tool or explanation.
We ask when unsure
If something is sensitive, complicated or unclear, we ask, flag it or point people back to official Rebel Finance School resources.
We bring fun and encouragement
We bring warmth, humour and encouragement. The more human and fun the journey feels, the easier it is for people to keep going.
We follow through
If we say we will help with something, we do our best to follow through. If life gets in the way, we say so early.
What this is not
The Rebel Ninja role is not about status, ego, control or being more important than anyone else. It is not a badge to wave around. It is not a stage. It is not a shortcut to attention.
We are here to support the community, not sell to it. No prospecting. No pitching. No using Ninja status to build your own empire.
That applies to all of us. Alan, Katie and the Rebel Ninja team are here to serve the mission and support the people learning inside the community.
How we protect the community
Rebel Finance School works because people can ask questions, admit what they do not know and take their next step.
We do not shame people for being new. We do not make people feel stupid. We do not give overconfident answers when we are unsure. We do not turn someone else’s money question into a debate stage.
We help. We encourage. We point people towards resources. We flag anything serious or sensitive. We keep the community focused on learning, confidence and progress.
Prerequisite: attend Rebel Finance School first
Before joining the Rebel Ninja team, we ask that you attend Rebel Finance School as a participant first.
This is not about whether you already know your stuff. You might be confident with money, active in the Financial Independence world, or brilliant at helping people. We still ask everyone to experience Rebel Finance School first so you understand the content, the flow, the community, and the Rebel vibe.
That shared experience matters. It means when you join the Rebel Ninja team, you already understand the journey people are on, how the sessions tend to go, where people often get stuck, and how we support them.
If you are new to Rebel Finance School, welcome! Please attend the course first, soak it up, and then we would love to welcome you into the Rebel Ninja team afterwards.
