Extraordinary Events build on a decade of experience creating life-changing gatherings around the world. Alan & Katie Donegan have been running events since the early days of Rebel Business School, helping thousands of people start businesses without debt and take control of their financial future.

We were the organisers behind the legendary Chautauqua retreats, intimate, transformative events that brought together financial independence leaders and communities in stunning locations across the globe. From Greece to the UK, Portugal to Colombia, these experiences inspired deep conversations and lasting friendships.

In 2022, we launched Extraordinary Events to take life design to the next level. Our first event was in Longmomt with the incredible Mr Money Mustache.

Then came Extraordinary Vegas which we put on with Brad Barrett from ChooseFI, combined financial independence principles with practical life design tools and a vibrant community atmosphere. Now, we’re excited to continue the journey with Extraordinary Richmond in February 2026.
